The blue tick on TUKOLE means a worker or employer's government-issued ID has been confirmed. Here's what it means, how to get it, and what it costs.

Why get verified

• A blue tick badge shown next to your name everywhere your profile appears
• Unlimited job postings, with no monthly cap
• People trust a verified profile faster, since your identity's been confirmed

How it works

• Open "Get verified" from the TUKOLE icon menu, or your profile picture menu
• Choose a plan (3, 6, or 12 months)
• Upload the front and back of your ID (or the photo page for a passport)
• Pay with MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, or a card
• Your badge activates automatically the moment payment goes through - no waiting on manual review

What happens to your ID document

Your document is stored privately and never shown on your public profile. We keep it on file to help resolve disputes and support legal action if a verified user is reported for harming someone - full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Common questions

Does verification expire?
Yes - your badge lasts for the plan you chose. You'll need to renew to keep it active.

What if my payment was deducted but I didn't get verified?
Contact us with your payment details and we'll investigate and fix it.

Can an employer and a worker both get verified?
Yes - verification is available separately for worker profiles and employer profiles.
